Adam and Kim are one of those couples that we barely have to prompt, because their adoration for each other just flows out. They are so fun and light-hearted, and we’ve loved becoming friends with them! I don’t think we’ve ever been thanked at the mic by a groom before, and it was truly an honor to be a part of their wedding! They said their “I do’s” at the Alpine Valley Resort in Milwaukee, on Leap Day of all days, which was so perfect for them. Their wedding was filled with Harry Potter, Star Wars, Lego, Marvel, Mario Kart, and so much Disney music. I was basically geeking out all day. And if you saw my Instagram stories during the day, you’ll know that Mark and I took full advantage of the Lego sets that they put out on the reception tables (after we were off duty, of course ????).
Adam put this entire Hogwarts castle together the night before the wedding so that I could use it for ring shots. I’ve never taken so many different ring shots at a wedding before, haha. It then got to sit on the pizza table at the reception with Kim’s mandrake plant that actually screams when you pull it out of it’s pot.
The events of the night wrapped up with the most beautiful golden hour sun coming straight through the windows onto the dance floor, amidst the couple’s sweet choreographed dance to A Million Dreams from The Greatest Showman, and all the other Disney songs we enjoyed. Then they partied the night away with dancing, pizza, legos, and the resort pool.
