Josh and Grace met in preschool, y’all. I’ve known Josh and his family since I was in middle school. I got to start getting to know Grace when I started being an assistant director for her school’s summer play program, where I witnessed her glowing joy and bubbliness, and just fell in love with it. I have a very distinct memory of seeing them sitting together at one of our church’s youth events and asking Josh’s older brother, my friend, if they were “a thing.” He smirked and said “No, buuuut…yeah kind of. But you didn’t hear it from me.” ???? Years of being best friends later, they started dating officially, and then decided it needed to be forever. It’s a good thing too, because we were gonna keep Grace around either way, so no need to make it awkward, haha. Asking our Lucy to be their flower girl was just a wonderful cherry on top. ❤️
Their wedding was changed quite a bit by Covid, and wound up being a very small and intimate wedding in Josh’s parent’s backyard, with his siblings as the bridal party, and just family and a few close friends in attendance (plus a few more friends sneaking a peek from their neighbor’s backyard!).
They are truly such an amazing example to other young couples, and we’re so proud of them, and love being around them. Their family is so very special to us, and we love them from the bottom of our hearts.
